2. SMS and Mobile Messaging Terms
Kona Counseling provides clinical notifications, appointment reminders, and care-related updates via SMS through our internal EHR platform, Joy EMR.
- Opt-In: By providing your mobile number and checking the opt-in box on our intake forms or website contact forms, you express consent to receive SMS messages from Kona Counseling. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of receiving counseling or medical services.
- Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your specific clinical schedule, appointment changes, and care coordination needs.
- Pricing: Kona Counseling does not charge for our SMS service; however, standard message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier.
- Opt-Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to our phone number. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you a final SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from Kona Counseling unless you opt back in.
- Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program or have questions, you can reply with the keyword "HELP" for more assistance, or contact us directly at (480) 581-5900.
- Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
3. Medical & Clinical Disclaimer
